HOW IT WORKS

Follow up with the client to answer any remaining questions and ensure they are satisfied with the proposed plan.

Whether your roof is thatch in long straw, combed wheat reed or water reed we provide a second to none thatching service on roofs of all shapes and sizes.
After the first 10-15 years of any thatched roofs life, it will need to be re-ridged. A re-ridge consists of stripping the existing ridge back to the coat underneath and building it back up with new straw.

We provide advise in respect of pest control. We can block up any holes in the wire netting and we can also bait loft spaces in order to catch any pests remaining in the roof.
Some people like to have their thatched roof monitored over its lifespan. If your roof has been thatched within the last 7 years, this I not necessary. However, some older roofs benefit from a check-up from time to time that we can arrange for you.
